Answers to your real estate questions

Q.  Derrick, when choosing a realtor, how much importance should I place on the company they represent?

A.  That’s a great question. I would recommend you choose the realtor first and their company second.

Your relationship throughout the process of buying or selling will be with your individual realtor not their company. Find a full time professional realtor you feel comfortable with, who has earned your trust, and you are well on your way to completing perhaps the most important step in the real estate process!

HOT TIP #1

Hire the realtor not the company!

Q.  Derrick, am I better off using a real estate team or an individual realtor?

A.  Another good question. Professional real estate teams move a lot of property.

However, I guess the real question in how important is it that you deal with an individual realtor versus someone’s support team? I know when my phone rings, I’m the one on the other end.

HOT TIP #2

 Bigger is not always better!
